Mission Community Services is currently running limited or modified essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure we can best serve the community.

We are actively monitoring the situation and the necessary measures are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and support the safety of all the individuals we serve and our staff.

This partnership with the BC Ministry of Health and United Way allows Mission Community Services Better at Home Program to ensure the needs of seniors are met during this time. Seniors 65+ can request volunteer help at any time with the following services: Grocery shopping and delivery Meal preparation and delivery Food Hampers Prescription pickup and delivery Phone and/or virtual friendly visits Assistance with setting up online services for banking, pharmacy, grocery shopping and communication apps. Join us on August 4th at 11 am for our virtual Seniors Chair Yoga class from the comfort of your home. Chair yoga is designed to help with balance issues, those who are looking to start slowly and want to feel more confident. It's a great way to relax your body without the stress of getting out of your chair!
To register and receive an invitation link to join the class, please email Raman at [email protected] with your name, phone number, and email. Please download the Microsoft Teams app to your digital device (phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) to take part in the virtual yoga class.
